Founded by directors Paul Bowd and Michael Kumschick in 2013, AMC has a small tight-knit crew with vast experience and qualifications in metal roof and facade cladding, carpentry and plumbing. Paul and Michael’s combined industry experience exceeds 40 years and spans two continents. Michael honed his trade craft in Switzerland. Both being plumbers, they met when working for the same large commercial metal cladding business in Melbourne in 2003 where they installed zinc cladding and roofing at Federation Square, bronze doorways at the Shrine of Remembrance and performed restoration works to the copper roofing on the immigration museum of Victoria. Working in multiple varied roles at large commercial companies – from installation to quoting to project management – prior to setting up Advanced Metal Cladding in 2013 gives AMC an edge. AMC has the knowledge and ability to manage all aspects of their projects Most of our projects are in the inner Melbourne metro area as well as bayside suburbs including the Mornington Peninsula. Our primary focus is high quality architectural metal wall cladding combined with architectural roofing installations and we pride ourselves on exceptional customer satisfaction. AMC are not roofing contractors that also happen to do cladding.
